Bibliography
Below is a list of Dean Williams’s publications. It came from Dr. Williams’s vita from around 1986. Any errors are mine.
I want to thank Margie Watkinson of the University of Iowa, who was Dr. Williams’s secretary for many years, for her help.
One of my concerns has always been that we don’t have enough of an appreciation for the work done by the "pioneers" in stuttering. A quick review of the bibliography that follows shows that Dr. Williams’s research included at least a few investigations of the physiology of stuttering and the effect of drugs on stuttering, as well as his work on perceptions of stutterers, and his classic "Point of View."
