Third Story

The third question was sent by Jeremy. His question and some of the answers he got are below:

I'm in third grade and my older brother teases me a lot because I stutter. He makes me so mad! What should I do?

You should tell the teaser that people who stutter are the same as other kids and it's nothing to be ashamed about cause I stutter. Tell him its no problem and it's nothing to be ashamed of cause you're still a person like everyone else and they wouldn't like it if somebody made fun of them.

I would try to ignore him if he continued to make fun of me. People make fun of me too, and I ignore them. This helps me. I would also try to use slow talking to see if I stopped stuttering.

My name is Jordan. I stutter also, and I am in the fourth grade. I would ignore them. Then I would tell my mom or dad. I he didn't stop teasing me , then I would talk to him , and say " that's not nice, because I stutter and I'm improving. So when you tease me, it hurts my feelings. That's what I would do. Good Luck!!

My advice is that everybody has their differences and you should be proud of who you are. If people tease you you should tell them that you are proud to be the way you look or what you do, or you can just go along with what you say and act like you are making fun of yourself and you can have a lot of fun with that. And if some people tease you for any reason ignore them and they will get tired of teasing someone that doesn't seem to care about what they say so they will most likely stop teasing you. Good luck with all of your problems!!!!!

Tell him that it is not nice to make fun of people. He could teach his brother about stuttering.
