Curricular Practical Training (CPT) for Nursing

Curricular Practical Training (CPT) is an authorized, credit-bearing educational opportunity available to international students in F-1 status. The School of Nursing may approve elective employment or internship CPT for eligible undergraduate students who wish to gain practical work experience related to their field of study.

Eligibility criteria and policies are different for Pre-Nursing Students, versus students admitted to the Pre-Licensure Program.

CPT for Pre-Nursing Students

For students who have not started coursework in the Pre-Licensure Program.

CPT for Pre-Licensure Program Students

For students admitted to the Pre-Licensure Program and have begun coursework.
