In recognition of International Stuttering Awareness Day, our local chapter of the National Stuttering Association is (NSA) hosting a two-day information booth on October 13 and 14 at the West Virginia University student union ("Mountainlair"). A brochure for the local chapter was prepared along with a flyer about the ISAD. People are encouraged to visit the website, printed on the flyer, and to post questions or comments until October 22. The flyer also announces a "welcome" event for people who stutter and interested persons to be held on October 28. It will consist of a film and sharing of several stories of stuttering by NSA support group regulars. The event was originally to be scheduled on October 21, but WVU had a home football game that night, and we *know better* than to compete with that. <smile>
