Senior Practicum (SOWK 455) & Integrative Seminar (SOWK 450)

The Senior Practicum (SOWK 455) and Integrative Seminar (SOWK 450) are the capstone field experiences of the BSSW Program. You will take them concurrently during your final semester. 

In SOWK 455, you will complete a 440-hour of field practicum, approximately 30 hours per week for 15 weeks during either the fall or spring semesters. In SOWK 450, you will meet with an assigned faculty seminar liaison to reflect and process learning in your field practicum. These courses are not offered during the summer months. 

You must complete all required coursework with a grade of ‘C-‘ or better before you will be given permission to complete your senior practicum.
