The School of Nursing Advising Team provides academic advising services to current and prospective students pursuing application and admission to the Pre-Licensure Program. Once admitted, students will be reassigned to a faculty advisor for guidance and support through graduation.

The 16,000-square-foot Maverick Family Simulation Center is located in the Clinical Sciences Building and provides access to 13 high fidelity mannequins, ranging from newborns to adults.
Current nursing students are encouraged to complete a profile in Scholarship Finder in order to view specific scholarship opportunities within the School of Nursing and across the University.
The Pre-Licensure Program provides many opportunities for students to engage in direct hands-on experiences, enabling them to connect theories and knowledge learned in the classroom, to real-world situations.
This program is designed for the licensed Registered Nurse with an Associate Degree who wishes to complete the baccalaureate degree in nursing.
When a student does not meet academic standing requirements, they are placed on Academic Warning, Academic Probation, or Suspension.
