Roy Kammer, Ed.D., LADC, ADCR-MN, CPPR, LPC (MN), LPC (SD), NCC - Department of Health Science, Alcohol and Drug Studies Program

Roy Kammer is a faculty member in the Alcohol and Drug Studies Program at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Dr. Kammer is an experienced addiction counselor educator and has served in various academic roles including faculty member, program coordinator, and dean. Dr. Kammer is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Prevention Professional Reciprocal (CPPR), and National Certified Counselor (NCC). He serves as the immediate past president of the International Coalition for Addiction Studies Education (INCASE) and is the chair of the Board of Commissioners for the National Addiction Studies Accreditation Commission (NASAC). Dr. Kammer has served on the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy since 2018 and is a member of the board's Complaint Resolution Committee, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, Legislative Committee, and Personnel Committee. Dr. Kammer has served on various state and national workgroups to advance counselor credentialing including an initiative through the National Frontier and Rural Addiction Technology Transfer Center to develop technology-based clinical supervision guidelines for licensing and certification boards.


Jodi EgelandI am excited to collaborate with other mental health professionals across campus to increase services to our community and provide more learning opportunities for our students.

I am a Family Practice and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have worked at MSU Mankato Student Health Services since 2002 and have been Medical Director since 2014.


Diane CoursolI am excited about MSUM collaborating with the Mankato community and the surrounding rural areas where Mental Health services are so greatly needed. I also see this as an extraordinary opportunity for our students to provide services to clients under appropriate supervision that will meet our curricular and accreditation standards. Lastly, the tie in and opportunity to work with the individuals from diverse yet related disciplines in developing such a clinic and its vision is exciting.
Diane Coursol, Ph.D. - Counseling and Student Personnel

Dr. Coursol has been a counselor educator for 37 years at Minnesota State University, Mankato. She and has been the primary designer of the Counseling and Student Personnel department's Clinical Lab Facility, where graduate students learn about and acquire clinical counseling skills and assessment skills for both face-to-face and online service delivery. Dr. Coursol teaches a course in Technology and Counseling and her focus with online service delivery started in 2000. Needless to say, Dr. Coursol's mental health counseling students were prepared for online counseling service delivery during the recent COVID 19 pandemic. She teaches at both the masters and doctoral levels.


Michelle McAlarnenI look forward to serving the community and developing innovative programming through campus and community partnerships.
Michelle McAlarnen, Ph.D., CMPC - Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology Graduate Program in the Department of Human Performance

Dr. Michelle McAlarnen is a Professor in the Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology program, a Certified Mental Performance Consultant, and a Fieldwork Supervisor for The Center for Sport and Performance Psychology. The Center provides mental skills training to individuals, teams, and performance groups. She teaches, mentors students, and conducts research in the areas of mental health and chronic pain in athletic populations, supervision in graduate training, and mindfulness. She has presented her research at national conferences, in referred journals, and in academic texts.


Allison LundahlI am thrilled to be expanding mental health and psychoeducational services in our community and to offer high quality, interdisciplinary training opportunities to graduate students on-campus.
Allison Lundahl, Ph.D., L.P., BCBA-D - Psychology, School Psychology Doctoral Program

Dr. Lundahl received her Ph.D. in school psychology at the University of Wisconsin- Madison in 2010. She completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in behavioral psychology and pediatrics. Following these training opportunities, Dr. Lundahl was hired as a supervising psychologist in the training program at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, where she supervised interns and post-docs and provided clinical services for seven years. Prior to becoming an Assistant Professor at Minnesota State University, Mankato, Dr. Lundahl provided treatment services to children as a licensed psychologist within the Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato and worked as a school psychologist in rural schools with Minnesota Valley Education District. Dr. Lundahl is credentialed as a Licensed Psychologist and School Psychologist in Minnesota and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.


Antonia YenserI'm excited to be a part of a clinic that will fill the need of rural mental healthcare. I think this collaboration that this clinic will pull together will be the best part. It's bringing together a lot of great things that we do at the University and giving our students a chance to use their skills.
Antonia Yenser - Student Health Services

Antonia Yenser is the Director of Student Health Services Medical Clinic at Minnesota State University, Mankato. She has been in this position since January 2023. Prior to that, Antonia has had eight years of experience in Student Health Services/Health Education and the Career Development Center at MNSU, Mankato. Antonia is an alumni of MNSU Mankato with an MS in Community Health Education and is completing a Masters in Healthcare Administration at MSUM.


Tiffany BreckenridgeBringing accessible integrated rural behavioral healthcare Mankato focused on underserved populations. Providing experiential educational opportunities to students at MSUM.
Tiffany Breckenridge, DSW, LICSW, LCSW - Department of Social Work, MSW Program

Dr. Breckenridge received her BSSW and MSW from Minnesota State University, Mankato and her DSW from the University of St. Thomas. Dr. Breckenridge has experience in child welfare, domestic violence, and medical social work in both rural and urban areas. Dr. Breckenridge's research interest includes trauma-informed care, adverse childhood experiences, chronic health, and culturally responsive practice.


Jennifer ParkerI am excited to see the development of an innovative interprofessional clinic that will educate and train our students on effective practice skills. Students will then be able to take this model out into communities and agencies that will promote social change.
Jennifer Parker, LICSW - Social Work - MSW Field Director

I am returning as the interim MSW Field Director for the Department of Social Work. I was the MSW Field Director at MNSU, Mankato for seven years then took a two-year hiatus and worked as the Practicum Director for New Mexico State University. I completed my Master of Social Work from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. I have extensive experience in field education and have developed and taught course as the graduate and undergraduate level. Before my journey in academia, I was employed in a variety of setting centered around Community Mental Health, including adoption, foster care, domestic violence and residential care. My areas of social work interest are in field education, child and family mental health, trauma, play therapy and mind, body connection.


Kari Much 
Kari Much, Psy.D., LP - Counseling Center - Department Chair

Dr. Kari Much is a Licensed Psychologist in the Counseling Center at Minnesota State University Mankato. In addition to providing mental health services for enrolled MSU students, the Counseling Center offers a clinical training program for graduate students in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Counseling and Student Personnel, and Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology. She has served as a clinical supervisor for doctoral and master's students for over two decades and is a board approved supervisor with the Minnesota Board of Psychology and the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy.
