About Allied Health IDEAs
Allied Health & Nursing IDEAs mission statement:
Expand knowledge, critical approach, and service to integrate equity, inclusion, cultural responsiveness, anti-racism, and anti-oppressive practices, in the field of allied health and nursing.
IDEAs works to plan and implement initiatives and events which recognize and elevate the values of inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility within the College of Allied Health and Nursing.
In collaboration with the University and our community, the goal is to strengthen diversity and inclusion through knowledge and equity-based practices for students, faculty, and staff in the College. IDEAs will expand on the College’s values to emphasize inquiry, responsibility, civility, collegiality, respect, collaboration, and social justice focusing on the dynamic challenges our future allied health professionals will encounter.
