- Stuttering and DiscriminationFor questions of discrimination because of a disability (or any kind of discrimination for that matter), it is always a good idea to start locally. Keep good records of everything you that happens to you and everything you do. The first three suggestions below should be able to advise you without any cost, and may be able to negotiate an adequate and amiciable solution.
- Your employer's human resources office may have a designated officer to deal with discrimination issues.

- The National Stuttering Association has lawyers who may be able to advise you. There are also probably lawyers near you that specialize in discrimination cases. They are probably listed in your local telephone directory.
