Students in the Cultural and Natural Resource Management emphasis area focus on the interactions of people and nature. A primary focus is how we can sustainably maintain natural areas for the enjoyment of people, emphasizing access now while caring for our natural resources. Students in this emphasis area typically seek employment in federal, state, and municipal agencies as park rangers or naturalists, park planners, facility managers, and outdoor recreation planners among many other opportunities.
