Careers in Health and Physical Education Allow You To…
Students who complete their degree in Health and Physical Education predominantly work in an educational setting teaching health education at the middle school or high school level and/or physical education at the elementary, middle, or high school levels. Careers may also include working as an activities/athletic director or youth sport director. Coaching opportunities are also available. Teaching health and physical education at the University level is also an option, for this graduate degrees would be required.
Currently, the job outlook for health and physical educators is strong, and new teachers are in high demand. The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts a 5% growth by 2031.
