The Applied Health Science major is the only one of its kind in the Minnesota State University System. Students choose a path to support careers and/or seek further training in health education and promotion or another allied health profession. All students completing the major will be health educators and eligible for the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES®) credential. This major offers five career emphasis options: Health Education and Promotion, Public Health, Pre-Occupational Therapy, Pre-Athletic Training and Pre-Healthcare Administration.
