Internships

Upon successful completion of the Applied Health Science core coursework, all students have the opportunity to enroll in an internship from (1-9 credits, 50 hours per credit hour). Students in the Health Education and Promotion track are required to complete a 9-credit internship (total of 450 hours).

All internships require that students obtain site approval from the Applied Health Science Internship Coordinator, complete specific paperwork, and a Memorandum of Understanding is completed between the University and the internship facility prior to being able to register for any credits. All requirements and an FAQ can be found within the Internship Handbook.
