Facilities

The Physical Education-DAPE major provides teacher candidates with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. As a future teacher, these resources are critical for graduating with real-world experiences!

Teacher candidates will have use of Schellberg Gymnasium, Myers Fieldhouse, the Physical Education and DAPE Fitness Lab, multiple outdoor spaces and have a dedicated equipment room!

Equipment commonly used within the major include:

• HeartZones Training technology
• Total Body Resistance (TRX) equipment
• Kettle bells, strength bands, slam balls and plyometric boxes
