The Department of Health Science offers fully online* Master of Public Health (MPH) programs in Public Health: Health Behavior and Health Promotion, Public Health: Nutrition (for current Registered Dietitians), and Public Health: Dietetics (dual enrollment in MS/MPH only). These programs primarily focus improving individual and population health through a variety of applied methods, with an emphasis on preventive measures, social determinants of health, systems and environmental change, as well as behavior change strategies and health promotion. Students are prepared for employment in educational settings, governmental agencies, private and voluntary health organizations, health care settings, and business and industry.
This program is designed to equip students with the advanced knowledge and skills necessary for successful and engaging careers in various public health sectors.
This program, designed for RDNs, expands the nutritional health skillset to include emphasis in health education and promotion competencies.
