This session presents the Mental Health in Rural Communities Toolkit, an evidence-based toolkit developed by the NORC Walsh Center for Rural Health Analysis, in collaboration with the Rural Health Information Hub (RHIhub). This session will provide an overview of the web-based guide which shares information and resources for rural communities to build effective mental health programs. The Mental Health in Rural Communities Toolkit provides promising models, program best practices, and resources that organizations and communities can use to improve mental health in rural areas. The session will also discuss considerations for implementation, evaluation, and sustainability of rural mental health programs.
