Health Commons at Pond is a free medical clinic in the Bloomington school district providing health and wellness care for area children and families. The clinic is operated by students, faculty and staff from the nursing program and others across the College of Allied Health and Nursing.

Services and programs

Students across the College have the opportunity to help provide care for the community while gaining real-world experiences through a partnership with Health Commons at Pond.

Some of the services provided and programs involved include:

  • Wellness care through the School of Nursing
  • Sports physicals
  • Vaccinations for uninsured and under-insured children/teens 18 and under
  • Ill visits
