About the Clinic

Welcome to the Rural Behavioral Health Clinic

Entrance to the clinicLocated in University Square in Mankato, we provide accessible mental health therapy and case management services. Our clinic is uniquely designed to serve both the Mankato community and surrounding rural areas.

Conference roomAs a training clinic that is part of Minnesota State University Mankato, we offer care through an interdisciplinary team of graduate student clinicians from the Social Work and Counseling and Student Personnel programs, all under the supervision of licensed mental health professionals. This collaborative approach allows us to provide comprehensive, high-quality care while training the next generation of mental health providers.

Room with two chairs facing each otherWe believe everyone deserves access to mental health support. Currently, as we complete our credentialing process, our services are offered at no cost. In the future, we will accept both private and public insurance and offer a sliding fee scale to ensure that no one is turned away due to inability to pay.

Made possible through the support of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota, Congressionally Directed Spending, and State Appropriation funding, our clinic represents a commitment to expanding mental health resources in our region.
