Love Recovery Gala named Program of the Year, Jenna Londgren named Advisor of the Year
The Students for Alcohol and Drug Education's (SADE) Love Recovery Gala received the Program of the Year Award and the program’s advisor, Dr. Jenna Londgren — a professor in the Department of Health Science — was named Advisor of the Year during the annual Recognized Student Organization (RSO) Leadership Awards.
The Love Recovery Gala, an event working to destigmatize addiction and celebrate recovery was coordinated by members of SADE, a pre-professional academic student organization sponsored by the Alcohol and Drug Studies Program. Other SADE activities include visiting treatment centers throughout the state, education sessions specific to the field, guest lectures and educational sessions.
