Nursing doctoral student Felicia Zimmerman presented her DNP project, Improving Immigrant Families Health: Screening for Adverse Childhood Experiences at the SIGMA Creating Healthy Work Environments Conference March 8-10 in Washington DC. Dr. Kristen Abbott-Anderson was her project faculty and Dr. Pat Beierwaltes was her clinical mentor for this important work. Conference attendance was supported by the Glen Taylor Nursing Institute for Family and Society.
