Dr. Chiou receives 2020 Distinguished Faculty Scholar Award
Dr. Chiou, a professor in the Department of Speech, Hearing & Rehabiliation Services, received the 2020 Minnesota State University, Mankato Distinguished Faculty Scholar Award. She is a local, national and international scholar and currently engaged in patient-centered research for those with brain injuries. She also supports meaningful engagement for individuals with dementia and their care partners, is a lead instructor for the Minnesota State University, Mankato Global Experiences program and has mentored more than 100 undergraduate and graduate students in research.
