Keynote Speakers: 

Morning Keynote: Dr. Liz Kwo

Dr. Liz Kwo is a transformative physician entrepreneur, healthcare executive, and faculty lecturer at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Liz Kwo is currently the Chief Commercial Officer of Everly Health, a digital health company at the forefront of the $300 billion virtual diagnostics-driven care industry. With a proven track record of building companies for two decades, Dr. Kwo authored “DIGITAL MD: Revolutionizing the Future of Care.”

Prior to Everly Health, she served as Deputy Chief Clinical Officer for Elevance (NYSE: ELV) modernizing care for 43 million Americans in Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial populations. Prior to Elevance, Dr. Kwo started several venture backed companies as the CEO and co-founder of InfiniteMD, acquired by Alight (NYSE: ALIT), and President and co-founder of New Pathway Education and Technology Group (acquired by EIC Education). Dr. Kwo is on the Board of Directors of Walmart Mexico and Central America (BMV: WALMEX), BlueWind Medical and Mass General Brigham Innovation Board.

Dr. Kwo continues to see patients in urgent care at Cambridge Health Alliance Hospital, teach residents as a faculty lecturer at Harvard Medical School, and is board certified in Preventive Care and Occupational Medicine. She earned a BA in Human Biology from Stanford University, MD from Harvard Medical School, MBA from Harvard Business School, and an MPH from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Afternoon Keynote: Dr. Senan Ebrahim

Senan Ebrahim, MD, PhD is a physician-scientist and entrepreneur dedicated to using technology to improve global health. Dr. Ebrahim is the founder and CEO of Delfina, dedicated to bringing lifesaving technologies to prenatal care. Dr. Ebrahim previously founded Hikma Health, a tech nonprofit creating digital health solutions for refugees, migrants, and other vulnerable populations. He is a Board Member of Medicine in Motion and The Connected Foundation. He has an MD and a PhD from Harvard in Computational Neuroscience. He enjoys surfing, biking, and hiking with his family.

Dr. Ebrahim brings a unique perspective to healthcare informed by his leadership in innovation and global health. He has dedicated his career to using data science and artificial intelligence to improve health outcomes for those who need it most. At Hikma Health, he developed a free and open-source health data system to serve patients around the world, including in remote care settings like refugee camps. While caring for patients struggling with pregnancy care, Dr. Ebrahim began studying machine learning to predict preventable complications in pregnancy. After witnessing a stillbirth, he launched Delfina to tackle the maternal health crisis with a novel preventative data-driven model of care.

Dr. Ebrahim speaks on insights from his work developing equitable and high-performing AI software to solve major public health challenges. Dr. Ebrahim addresses how these predictive models are developed, how they apply to equitably serve diverse populations, and why their use is fundamentally transforming clinical practice. Dr. Ebrahim sparks a conversation with audiences on how we can best use AI to equitably improve health outcomes.
