Teaching: Professor Scott's teaching goal is to guide students to be critical thinkers who are culturally humble and intrinsically motivated by learning. It is Professor Scott's intention for students to learn to connect with clients deeply through thriving therapeutic relationships and vulnerability as well as partner with other professionals through multidisciplinary collaboration.

Areas of Interest: Professor Scott's areas of interest include Cultural and Linguistic Diversity, Cultural Humility, and Social Justice. Her research pertains to speech-language pathologists' therapeutic relationships with culturally and linguistically diverse students.
