Teaching: Jessica Jones' primary teaching goal is to foster growth and development of students in the undergraduate and graduate programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders toward becoming responsible, competent professionals.

- Developmental speech and language disorders, primarily in the birth-to-five population
- Childhood motor speech disorders including apraxia of speech and dysarthria
- Development of new models of clinical supervision and evaluation of student skill competencies in speech-language pathology.
- Expansion of study abroad opportunities in speech-language pathology to cultivate appreciation of cultural difference.
