PROFILE:

As an Academic Advisor on the School of Nursing Advising team, I provide pre-nursing students with academic planning services, course registration information, resource connection, application guidance, policy education, and anything else students may find themselves needing assistance with.

The nursing major prepares students to provide comprehensive medical care to patients, families, and communities during times that are often stressful and emotional. I’m privileged to advise pre-nursing students who feel called to pursue this compassionate and heroic career. I started this position in May of 2021 after graduating with both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Minnesota State University, Mankato. My goal in this position is to serve all students holistically and offer continuous collaborative support during their own unique academic journey.
