B.S. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1999

Teaching Focus: Dr. Armentrout is very passionate about teaching, learning, and incorporating real world experiences within the classroom. She puts the students first and helps them develop and grow into their chosen career paths. Currently she is teaching Advanced Sport Marketing, Sport Finance (undergraduate and graduate level classes), Research Methods and Statistics, Principles of Sport Management, and Sport Tourism. She has also taught Sport Law, Sport Management Seminar, Applied Sport Business, and Data Analysis of Sport. In addition, she has mentored and supervised students in their internships since 2002.

Research: Dr. Armentrout's research interests focus mainly on gender issues in sport and sport management education. Her research has been published in various journals including The Journal of Intercollegiate AthleticsJournal of Sport Behavior, and The Sport Psychologist. Currently she is working on the following research:

A Little Bit About Her: When Dr. Armentrout is not teaching you will find her coaching or driving her 6 and 8 year old boys to their sports, in fitness classes, or helping other people be healthier one person at a time.
