Finances for the BSSW Child Welfare Program
Students who are accepted into the CWP receive $3000 for each of their first 2 semesters and $4000 for their final semester for a total of $10,000. Currently, only full time are options available.
Additional financial support is available for:
- completing your internship in a tribal agency;
- internships that require you travel more than 50 miles away from your personal residence; and
- to participate in required or recommended workshops/trainings.
Receiving BSSW CWP funds may be reflected as part of your financial aid package; meet with Student Financial Services to understand your specific circumstances.
By accepting the funding, you are agreeing to repayment upon graduation by working in an approved child welfare agency. MORE INFORMATION
