TEACHING AND RESEARCH INTERESTS

I love to teach about improving and maintaining fitness and effectively fueling (i.e., proper nutrition) for physical activity. I also research in the areas of maintaining and increasing physical activity in youth and adult populations, testing cardiorespiratory fitness and strength, and investigating the impact of products (e.g., heat-exchange mask, sit-stand desks, etc.) on physical activity levels and performance. My coaching experience is in endurance sports, but I am always excited to learn, teach, and research about the many positive impacts of all types of physical activity. Please contact me if you are interested in conducting undergraduate or graduate research.
