Multicultural Clinical Supervisor Training

Join Minnesota State University, Mankato faculty as they lead a training on providing clinical supervision. Completion of this two-phase customized training earns you up to 45 CEU's and allows you to provide board approved supervision within your licensure for the boards of Social Work, Behavioral Health and Therapy, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Psychology.

The training will be delivered over two phases. The first phase is a 14-hour live training online via Zoom. The second phase, for those needing 30 or 45-hours, will be asynchronous and will allow you to complete the remaining hours of your training on your time within 45 days of completing phase one.

PHASE TWO for LICSW, LPCC, LMFT’s will take place asynchronously online following phase one. Phase two is designed to enhance your understanding of phase one concepts and will consist of reflection papers, textbook review questions, and development of a supervision contract that can be completed at your own pace within 30 days of completing phase one. More information on phase two will be provided to registered participants as the training approaches.

Through a legislative appropriation, the Minnesota Department of Health has funded the Mental Health Cultural Community Continuing Education Grant Program which allows clinicians from underrepresented communities to participate at no cost.
 
The program definition of "underrepresented community" is defined by state statute as:
"Underrepresented community" means a group that is not represented in the majority with respect to race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, or physical ability.
