The Communication Disorders program is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is designed to meet all of the requirements for the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) issued
by ASHA.
The Rehabilitation Counseling Program at Minnesota State University, Mankato, has been offered at the Master's degree level since 1959, with its first graduate completing the program in 1960.
