Teaching

My teaching pedagogy in recreation, parks and leisure services, natural resource recreation management utilizes experiential outdoor education techniques. Students are encouraged to engage in healthy lifestyle choices, environmental conservation behavior, and connection with real-world issues to create future solutions. My courses engage students in innovative service-leaning and practical field experiences which support academic growth, personal development, job marketability, technology competency, and sustainable communities.
