Early and Ongoing Advising – A Key to Success!
Faculty in the College of Allied Health and Nursing welcome opportunities to visit with prospective and current students, and they place a high priority on advising students in their area of interest.
Who do I contact for advising?
If you are interested in the College of Allied Health and Nursing, but are undecided on a major, contact the College's Student Relations Coordinator, Shirley Murray (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Tana Lamm (email@example.com). Shirley and Tana also works with students on academic warning or probation, and those having general advising questions. The phone number to set up advising appointments is 507-389-6315.
Kasi Johnson is the Nursing Advisor. Appointments with Ms. Johnson may be made by calling the School of Nursing office at 507-389-6022.
If you are not sure who your faculty advisor is, go to the E–Services website and enter your tech id number and password. You will then be taken to your student account. Click on "View Class Schedule." Your advisor's name will appear at the top of your schedule. If you do not have an advisor assigned, contact the department of your major to request one (see specific information for each major below). If you need additional assistance, contact Shirley Murray or Tana Lamm in the Dean's Office, MF 124.
