If the applicant is new to MSU, the student must first apply for admission to the University. Once admitted, the student will then apply to the School of Nursing. Begin by sending all admission information, including official transcripts, to the Office of Admissions (See address below). Once the admission process is complete, the Office of Admissions will then forward the student's transcripts to the Office of the Registrar* for evaluation.

If the applicant has attended MSU, the student must submit a copy of their most recent MSU transcript to the School of Nursing (attn: Dr. Marcia Stevens). The transcript may be an unofficial copy and is obtained from the Office of the Registrar* or obtained at The Campus Hub. Although students can also print it off the WEB, they usually aren't the best. If the applicant has attended other institutions in addition to MSU, the student must request official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended and have them sent to MSU Office of the Registrar* for credit evaluation. Specify the evaluation is to be done for the nursing major.

*Please note: The MSU Office of the Registrar usually needs at least 2 - 3 weeks to complete a credit evaluation/degree audit, so request them early.
