  • I am especially interested in the effects of hormones on women's health including diseases such as breast cancer, osteoporosis, arthritis and auto immune conditions
  • Women's mental health is also a passion for me and includes the spectrum of conditions related to anxiety and depression that are most common in women

Current Projects

  • Currently investigating the disparity experienced by African American women who are 2.5 times more likely to die during childbirth than caucasian or hispanic women
  • Refining an estrogen self assessment tool
