Aquatics
This cluster of courses, associated with the Physical Education major, may be elected by majors or non–majors and is designed to prepare qualified aquatic leaders. Pre: HP 182 or consent.

Coaching
This program meets State of Minnesota licensure requirements for head varsity coaches. Presently, to be licensed as a head varsity coach, one also must hold a valid Minnesota teaching license.

Prerequisites: Coaching Theory in sport wanting practicum or member of an intercollegiate team for 2 years in sport wanting practicum and First Aid and Athletic Training.
Note: A practicum student must participate as a coach in a school situation for the full sport season (Fall Sports, August–November; Winter Sports, November–March; Spring Sports, March–June).
