Minnesota State Mankato Sport Management Program to Unveil New Cambria Sport Business Hall of Fame Wall

Mankato, Minn. - April 7, 2011 - The Cambria Sport Business Hall of Fame Wall will be unveiled at Minnesota State Mankato on Friday, April 15, 2011. The Hall of Fame Wall is located outside of Myers Field House in Highland Center and the ceremony will take place at 4:00pm. The Hall of Fame Wall is sponsored by Cambria.

Minnesota State Mankato Sport Management Program graduate Travis Smith will act as Master of Ceremony and Minnesota State Mankato President Richard Davenport is also scheduled to speak at the event. President Davenport, Cambria president and CEO Martin Davis, Hall of Fame members Laura Day and Chris Wright, and Barb Erie, wife of the late Dennis Erie, will unveil the wall.

The Cambria Sport Business Hall of Fame was created in 2010 to honor industry leaders who have contributed to the development of the sport management program at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Current Hall of Fame members include Laura Day, Senior Vice President of Business Development of the Minnesota Twins; Dennis Erie, founder of the Minnesota State University, Mankato Sport Management Program; and Chris Wright, President of the Minnesota Timberwolves. Minnesota State University, Mankato introduces Sport Business Hall of Fame Members

Mankato, Minn. – June 3, 2010 – The Minnesota State University, Mankato Sport Management Program announces the newest members of the Cambria Sport Business Hall of Fame. The inductees into the Sport Business Hall of Fame include Chris Wright, President of the Minnesota Timberwolves; Dennis Erie, Founder of the Minnesota State University, Mankato Sport Management Program; and Laura Day, Senior Vice President of Business Development of the Minnesota Twins.

The Cambria Sport Business Hall of Fame honors leaders in the field of sport business for their passion, dedication, and leadership in the field of sport business and dedication to the development of the sport management program at Minnesota State University, Mankato. The Hall of Fame was established in 2010 and will act as a permanent place to honor those who have established themselves in the field of sport business and serve as role models for the students of the program.

Wright, Erie and Day were nominated by their professional peers and selected by the Cambria Sport Business Hall of Fame Board. Inductees were honored at the annual Dinner of Distinction hosted by the Minnesota State University, Mankato Sport Management Program at the Mankato Golf Club on April 30, 2010. The focus of the dinner is to celebrate the passing of another school year and honor accomplishments of deserving individuals.

The faculty and students of the Sport Management Program at Minnesota State University, Mankato are looking forward to next year's event as well as a new inductions to the Cambria Sport Business Hall of Fame.
