Department of Human Performance faculty members at Minnesota State University, Mankato partnered to create a unique opportunity for educators and coaches, at all levels, to benefit from intensive professional training. This opportunity was created in response to an increasing demand for professional coaches in the United States.
Starting in the summer of 2012, current and future coaches and educators can broaden their impact on youth with courses addressing the developmental, physiological, administrative, and psychological aspects of coaching. The courses will occur online during the summer and provide 15 credits towards a certification based on state standards as well the National Sport and Physical Education coaching requirements.
The fact that it’s online means you do not need to leave where you are currently living to complete the program. In addition, a new policy allows graduate students to receive in-state tuition, no matter where they’re completing coursework. Enroll in the program today!
