SADE

Students for Alcohol and Drug Education (SADE)

SADE is a pre-professional academic student organization sponsored by the Alcohol and Drug Studies Program.  The specific activities of the organization are determined by the student members who belong to SADE.  Membership dues are $10 per year.  All Minnestate State University, Mankato Students are eligible to join.

Each year, student leaders are elected from the group who provide leadership for direction of the organization.

Examples of past activities have included:

• Visiting treatment centers throughout the state.
• Education session by the Career Development Center on how to write resumes and cover letters specific to the field.
• Guest lectures by professionals from the field.
• Educational sessions on licensure and certification requirements.
