This area of concentration prepares graduates for a variety of careers related to food, nutrition and/or food service. Some examples include manager of a restaurant or school lunch program; public relations or sales work with supermarkets or government agencies; and positions with food processors. A supervised internship allows students to gain experience in a chosen phase of the food and nutrition industry. Students' needs and professional goals are met through individualizing the curriculum.
