Nomination Information
Process
The Cambria Sport Business Hall of Fame Board, consisting of Minnesota State Mankato faculty, staff, and students, are responsible to encourage people throughout the state and beyond to make nominations. This group also will review the nominations and select the honorees.
Criteria
- No more than two individuals will be inducted annually
- Any person involved with sport business may submit a nomination and may also nominate themselves
- Candidates who are not selected for induction may be re-nominated and reconsidered in subsequent years
- Posthumous nominations may be accepted
- Nominations are not limited to Minnesota State University, Mankato alumni
- The Cambria Sport Business Hall of Fame Board will consider the following when making their selection of honorees:
- Candidate's significant contribution to the field of sport business
- Candidate's accreditation as a sport business leader in the industry
- Candidate's demonstration of passion, dedication, and leadership
- Beyond the criteria noted here, the Cambria Sport Business Hall of Fame Board has the responsibility and discretionary power to make their determinations form the pool of nominations submitted
